Good News!

Dear Friends and Family,

We were notified today (Aug 31st) that no appeal was lodged in the adoption case. We have now officially won the case to terminate custody for all known and unknown
biological parents. All that is left is the formality of appointing us as
adoptive parents which should happen at an October court date. To say the
least we are super excited. We told Saiyeh this afternoon and she is so full of joy- she still hasn't fallen asleep!

We will be having a party to celebrate after the October date. In the mean
time we would like Saiyeh, and the other girls, to see God at work in this,
through His people. We are asking for people would like, to send a sentence or two that
you may have prayed, a special verse, a song, a memory or other thoughts that you may just want
to share with Saiyeh. You have played an important part in this journey with us.
This could be via email or on paper through the mail. We would also love a photo of you to go with it (email attachment is fine). We will put it all in a book for her. She may never have met you,
or may not remember who you are (though she has an amazing memory for
people) but she will know your love, and God's faithfulness. This has been
a very long journey, as you well know, and we are glad that it is coming to
a conclusion.
